5. The random delights. There are no flat-out hotly anticipated reunions on the bill this year, though for some the appearance of the British funk-rock band Jamiroquai, which hasn’t toured in the U.S. in years, will be treated as such. Beyond that, though, are potential delights from a host of performers and genres. The French electronic composer Jean-Michel Jarre is known for incorporating lasers and all manner of visuals into his performances, and his set could be this year’s version of movie maestro Hans Zimmer’s performances in 2017. Chic featuring Nile Rodgers will be a disco-funk dance party. The Japanese metal band X Japan isn’t that well known outside of J-rock circles but they’ve got potential to surprise a lot of folks who give them a chance in the desert.
Mom would clean the house, wash and iron the clothes, do the shopping and have dinner waiting for us every night–sometimes more than one dinner, if Dad happened to want ballerina cord bracelet, suede bracelet, ballet shoe jewellery, soft bracelet, kid's bracelet, lightweight bracelet, girls d liver and onions (ugh!) or corned beef hash, things we kids didn’t (or wouldn’t!) eat, As a kid I didn’t really appreciate it, That’s just what every mom did back in the ’50s and ’60s–heck, June Cleaver even did it wearing a string of pearls and Donna Reed did it in high heels, But as an adult I’ve gained a whole new appreciation for what Mom did all those years, and what she still does every day–not just for the three of us, but all of the grandchildren and great-grandchildren, too..
The film’s soundtrack, which also featured the Ellie Goulding hit “Love Me Like You Do,” is up for best compilation soundtrack for visual media along with “Empire: Season 1,” which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts earlier this year. More than 21,000 submissions were entered for the 83 Grammy categories, with the first round of votes due by Nov. 4 — the day the Country Music Association Awards aired and Stapleton cleaned house and turned in a memorable performance alongside Justin Timberlake. In addition to album of the year, Stapleton’s “Traveller” is nominated for best country album, country song and country solo performance.
