MILPITAS — A popular dance instructor at the Fantasia Performing Arts Center in Milpitas has been charged with 45 felony counts stemming from the alleged sexual assaults of girls between the ages of 10 and 14, according to the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office. Chen, 35, of Fremont, was arraigned Thursday on charges of attempted sexual intercourse or sodomy with a child 10 years of age or younger (one count), oral copulation or sexual penetration with a child 10 years of age or younger (five counts), lewd or lascivious act on a child under 14 (27 counts), oral copulation or sexual penetration with a child 10 years of age or younger (one count) and lewd or lascivious act on a child under 14 (11 counts).
